In what seems like the Nigerian judiciary has come to agree with the Nigerian masses that the time of the PDP is really up in this country, when it was voted out of power at the presidential level earlier this year, the law interpreters are helping to finish the remaining job by removing the last vestiges of the dreaded party.
How? Recently, Election Petitions Tribunal kicked out PDP’s Wike in Rivers State paving way for fresh election that will give Rivers people opportunity to boot the PDP governor out of Government House.
And just this afternoon, before the PDP could finish spelling the word ‘Appeal Court’ for Wike, the Tribunal, this time sitting in Abuja, cracked down on Taraba Governor Darius Ishaku of the party.
The tribunal headed by Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar declared the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Senator Aisha Jumai Alhassan, as the bona-fide winner of the April 11 governorship poll in the state.
Alhassan was among those that were cleared by the Senate to take up Ministerial appointment under President Muhammadu Buhari.
