That of celebrating Benue at 40 will be chaired by the Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu, with the Head of Service, Mr. Adaikwu Inwata, as secretary.

The celebration of the anniversary earlier slated for Wednesday, February 3, 2016, was shifted forward on account of the death and funeral of the late Tor Tiv. A new date will be announced later.
