Chief Agene Abubakar, the Lagos State Chapter Secretary of Ukomu Igala Organisation, an apex pressure group of Igala ethnic nationality, has said that Igala people are noted for their integrity and probity.
Abukakar, who was speaking on the objectives of the organisation, said the group is the voice of the Igala nation, stressing the unity of the people wherever they are is paramount.
He maintained that theIgala nation is stepping up to take its prime position in the national polity, adding, “in the comity of nations inC the federation, we are recongised”, adding that the organisation is not politically biased as it handles issues with objectivity at all times.
Abubakar, who announced the inauguration of the Lagos State chapter on  October 8, 2016 at the Police College Hall, Ikeja, stressed that the national executive committee of the body has given a go ahead for the event.
Comptroller Amade Abdul (rtd, Chairman of the organisation, on his own, urged all sons and daughter of Igala in Lagos and all the South West geo-political zone to troop out en masse with their friends and well wishers for the event.
Abdul indicated that the event will be chaired by Chief Dr. Joseph Erico Ameh, to be supported by Mrs Grace Makoto, while the Guest Speaker will be Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji, the Deputy National Leader of Ukomi Igala Organisation, who will also act as the Chief Host.
He also added that the event will attract the royal presence of His Royal Majesty (HRM) Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni 11, the Attah of Igala and the Royal Mother of the Day, Hajiah Chief Aisha Ali-Ibrahim (Adebu).
