According to him, he decided to register a foundation to have a recognized platform to carry out his empowerment programme, which he had done for quite some times now.
Chief Alochu, who is the Odochu 1 of Ukpa in Oju LGA reiterated his commitment to the upliftment of the less-privileged ones in the society.
He disclosed his plans to extend the gesture to other parts of the state in future and to Agba descendants across the nation.

He said even though he was not averse to politics, he had no plan to use the foundation to influence people’s political decisions.
The founder of Alochu Foundation further said he decided to contribute to the warfare of the downtrodden in the society because it gives him joy when those who could not take care of their basic needs to do when they received from him.
Another factor that motivated him to get up the story he said was the leading he received from God to give back to the society.
“As one from a less fancy background myself, it is another way of saying thank you God for making me beneficiary of this love and provision.
“I give because God sanctioned it; my motivation is God, personal parental background. My father who is a pastor, taught us to be generous, which is the only way to demonstrate our love to our neighbors. God himself demonstrated his love for us by giving His only begotten son, so should we do too,” he said.
According to him, he had no fulfillment in life than when he touches lives.
He recommended same to others well to do Igede sons and daughters, as that in itself opens further doors of wealth.
