MBTC CHAIRMAN, OCHI, COMMISERATES WITH MORO OVER WIFE’S DEATH

By James Ibechi

Chairman, Middle Belt Traditional Council (MBTC), Lagos/South West, Chief Ochi Ode Emmanuel, has commiserated with former Minister of Interior, Comr. Abba Moro over the loss of his wife, late Mrs Veronica.

The MBTC chairman conveyed his condolence in a statement he issued and signed himself at the weekend, a copy of which was made available to jamesibechi.com.

He said the leadership of the council received the news which he described as shocking because it came at the time he said the entire Middle Belt region needed the deceased to be alive and be behind her husband as the region still looks up to her husband to continue to play leadership roles in the country and Middle Belt in particular.

Chief Ochi lamented that the vacuum created by the death of the former minister’s wife, not only in his family, but also in the region, would be difficult to fill.

He, however, pray God to give Moro and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Mrs. Veronica Moro died from a protracted ailment on Tuesday in a Makurdi hospital.
