Dr. Victor David Enweruzo, the Lagos State Coordinator of the Atikulated Agenda 2019, has urged Lagosians to embrace the Atiku/Obi ticket for the liberation of the Nigerian people from the shackles of poverty and economic bondage.

Enweruzo, who was speaking at the inauguration of the Iba Local Council Development Authority (LCDA) chapter of the organisation on Tuesday, said the time had come for Nigerians to smile under a better economy and improved standard of living, which he stressed the election of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the nation’s president would usher in.

He maintained that Nigerians had been suffering because the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of President Muhammadu Buhari had failed, even as the Federal Government had become a write-off.

Enweruzo pointed at the insecurity and killings in the land, massive unemployment, dearth of infrastructure, huge foreign debts, and labour unrest as evidence that the President Buhari administration had failed to deliver on its promises.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to support Atiku, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, for them to experience real dividends of democracy, even as he reiterated that the administration would ensure that the federation would be restructured in a way that would ensure fairness and equity in the distribution of the nation’s resources.

Enweruzo urged Lagosians to go for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and guard them jealously, even as he advised them never to exchange it for money or give them to anyone under any guise.

He also urged the people to visit their voting units as soon as the voters’ lists were put on display to ensure that their names were not missing.

Enweruzo advised them to get in touch with their unit and zonal leaders if they encounter challenges in the course of collecting their PVCs or verifying their names on the voters’ lists for the organisation to assist them, as all hands must be on deck to ensure the enthronement of Atiku for the restoration of Nigeria.

The high point of the inauguration was the swearing in and presentation of the Iba chapter’s executive members and elders of the organisation under the leadership of Hon. Johnson Abiodun.

The event was witnessed by all the state and zonal directors of the Lagos Atikulated Agenda 2019.
