S’WEST, S’EAST, S’SOUTH, M’BELT LEADERS URGED TO MOBILISE SUPPORT FOR ATIKU

By Ejikeme Omenazu, Lagos

Dr. Victor David Enweruzo, the Coordinator of the Lagos Atikulated Agenda 2019, has urged leaders of the South West, South East, South South and the Middle Belt to give full full support to the presidential aspiration of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Enweruzo, who spoke during a stakeholders’ meeting in Lagos on Monday, said that since the four regions had agreed on the need to restructure the federation, they should mobilise their people to support Atiku, who had given assurance that he would do so if he emerged the nation’s president.

He stressed that while President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) had been making double speak on restructuring, Atiku, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had committed himself to commence restructuring within six months of mounting the saddle.

He stressed that as a true leader who had the interest of Nigerians in his mind, Atiku had committed himself to restructuring to usher in positive change, bring more development and progress, while the nation would be more peaceful and secure.

Enweruzo stated: “The readers from all the geo-political zones should think deed and understand that several things are not right with the country presently. Or, how long will the country be underdeveloped?

“Ghana and Republic of Benin are now better that Nigeria because their currencies are stronger that the Naira.

“The APC administration has failed. It has plunged the nation into serious foreign debt of over $13 trillion. How long will it take Nigeria to repay these loans?

“All our leaders at every level encourage their people to vote out President Buhari and vote in Atiku Abubakar. Nigerians should come out en masse to support Atiku/Obi ticket. Within the first eight months of their administration, Nigerians will see their impact and the people will smile one more time.”
